Every girl dreams about her big day. When you are the occasion, your updo hairstyle should be as epic as the event. It is all about you and that’s okay. There are three key items you should factor into this decision: your face shape, your personality and your dress.

You want all three to compliment each other perfectly.

Round Face - Think tall. Add some height for a wonderful slimming effect. Keep the focus on top and away from the sides. Adding height to the crown can be tricky, but when done in the right proportions, it's very glamorous

Oval Face - Any style will work. As a general rule, keep as much hair out of the face as possible. Show off those perfect proportions!

Oblong Face - Think small but full. The goal is to shorten up your face. Bangs or a tightpulled back look should work fine.

Square Face - Think soft. You want to “smooth” out the rigid features. Messy, funky or curly is a good contrast.

Heart Face - With a wider forehead and smaller jaw, the goal should be to take less focus off the top and add some fullness to the jaw. Half up half down works well.
